Danise Petticrew, FNP

Greetings, Welcome to Alaska Remote Medical Staffing site.  I am the founder of this unique company created to supply qualified medical staff in an Alaska Remote Clinics.  My back ground is colorful.  Graduated from University of Texas with a BSRN in 1978.  Worked in a variety of setting from Operating Room(TX), Med/Surg ICU(TX,AK,OR), ER(AK) and the Homeless Outreach(AZ).

My MSN goal of FNP, CHN was achieved at Az State Univ in 1990. My new career took me into a variety of positions including Diabetes Program with IHS in Sacaton, AZ.  From there returned to Texas in the County Health Department and Family Practice in Rural Clinics. I later jumped into specialty clinics to expand my knowledge base in Cardiology and Nephrology. Wanting to give back to nurses, I taught at a local community college in the Registered Nurse Associate Program.

Most recently my passion for returning to Alaska had taken me to the Kenai Peninsula where I work in remote AK clinics as an itinerant FNP.  I enjoy the challenges of being off the road system for the past 7 years.  It requires a special health care provider to be flexible and prepared on a daily basis.  There is a need for medical staffing in the remote IHS clinics, thus the desire to begin a staffing agency.
